Premier League

This Premier League season will be better than ever

The previous 2015-16 season of the Premier League was arguably one of the most exciting and surprising ones in the history as it saw Leicester City coming out on top and emerging as the champions of England.

Nobody was really expecting to see Leicester City finishing in the top 5 spots of the Premier League in the past season and it was even more surprising when Claudio Ranieri and his squad maintained a positive string of results throughout the entire season until eventually being crowned as the champions.

As shocking and thrilling that the 2015-16 season was, the current season is expected to be even better as the Premier League has lured some of the top managers and players in the world and all of them are competing for a chance to take the league title.

Manchester City has Pep Guardiola leading the way who has at his disposal the likes of: Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and David Silva, just to name a few of the more recognized and highly-rated players in the squad of the Spanish manager.

Chelsea is another one of the titans that is expected to make a genuine charge for the top spot as they lured in Antonio Conte from the Italian national side and he has a big task to fulfill as the Italian coach is hoping that he propel Chelsea to success just how he did with his former club Juventus, where he managed to push Juventus to successive league titles.

It’s hard to deny that Manchester United are probably the big favorites of emerging as the new champions of the Premier League as Jose Mourinho was brought in to start dominating the top tier English League, a manager that has lifted some of the biggest titles at club level and the Portuguese coach did not waste time in signing world-class players such as: Paul Pogba and ZlatanIbrahimovic.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are the favorites of winning this season of the Premier League. The 2016-17 season is expected to be one of the most thrilling ones yet, with all of these top managers and players, it’s clear to see why the Premier League is turning into one of the most entertaining leagues in the world.

In my opinion, Manchester United has the edge especially with Ibrahimovic who only signed a yearlong contract with the Premier League and has already scored in all 3 opening matches of the season, the Swedish attacker wants to give it everything he has to make what might be his last season in a top tier club a memorable one.
