England coach Eddie Jones has named his autumn squad. The Australian named six Bath Rugby players in his list of 34 to face Argentina, Australia and Samoa. The players would feature in the autumn engagements at Twickenham starting with Argentina on November 11, Australia November 18 and Samoa the following week.

Jones named Sam Underhill, Tom Dunn, Charlie Ewels, Anthony Watson, Zach Mercer and Jonathan Joseph. The coach picked experienced young players and a few untested ones. The untested ones like Mercer would have the experience of featuring in the tournament even if he doesn’t play.

The players are eligible for the Gloucester clash but they are expected to travel to Portugal on Sunday for the one week training camp. They would also train at Pennyhill Park before the Argentine test.

Jones said the team has been preparing in the training camp towards the battle against the Pumas – the fourth time this year. The coach says he wants the record to be 4-0 as they would not meet them until 2019.

Underhill was in the Argentina tour with Ewels outstanding in the two-Test win. Dunn has made short training camps but would be playing for the first time in the Test squad. Watson and Joseph would provide the necessary experience despite feelers that they could be rested.

Aside the Bath rugby stars: Mike Brown, Denny Solomona, Jonny May and Elliot Daly also made the list for the back three. Ben Youngs, Marcus Smith, Alex Lozowski, Danny Care, George Ford, Owen Farrell, Piers Francis, Henry Slade made the inside backs cut.

Tom Curry, Chris Robshaw, Sam Simmonds, Courtney Lawes, Nick Isikwe, Maro Itoje, Nathan Hughes and George Kruis made the back five forwards. Players invited for the front row include Dylan Hartley, Matt Mullan, Harry Williams, Mako Vunipola, Dan Cole, Ellis Genge and Jamie George .
